DELUKA is engaged mainly in mining, treatment and processing of kaolin, clays, feldspars and aggregates.
At the present time Deluka manages 11 mining areas in Slovenia and as a result can offer its clients a wide range of raw materials that can be utilized in many industrial branches.
Kaolins are the best-known products of DELUKA. These are supplied as ceramic and mixed sanitary, which are used in the ceramics industry in the production of wall and floor tiles and sanitary ceramics. Another very important use of kaolin is during the manufacture of paper, colors and paints, plastics, glues and cements and also medicines in the pharmaceutical industry. The production of ground kaolins for the manufacture of glass fibers has recently seen dynamic growth, connected with their application as a new material ranging from the automobile industry and ending with packaging technology. The company DELUKA is one of the most important suppliers in Europe in this field.
Deluka offers more than raw materials, it is committed to provide ‘fit for purpose’ products, together with technical support services, to the ceramic industry, world-wide.
Generations of minerals experience, a wish to constantly innovate, as well as a willingness to collaborate to overcome industry challenges are the principles on which the Group continues to grow.
